Further competition under lot 1 south west of the Southern Construction Framework.\r \r Bristol City Council wishes to procure a contractor under a two-stage (design and construct) contract for the works. The works relate to the conversion of ground floor space within the Hawkfield Business Park main production building to create three new large tv and film studios; Back of House construction area for sets, prop stores and dimmer rooms; circulation and supporting welfare and ancillary spaces all for TBYS. The works include demolitions, providing new partitions and openings, improved external access into the production building, mechanical and electrical works, installing PV panels to the roof, roof repair works, adding ceilings, providing additional toilets, showers and sinks, and minor works to first floor offices following use as construction phase accommodation.
