Grounds Maintainence Equipment - Market Engagement

<p>Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council leases vehicles and equipment which is used by our teams to maintain public areas such as playing fields, parks, crematoria and cemeteries, and grass verges. Currently most of this is powered by diesel but we know we need to move towards equipment that has lower environmental impacts, including lower CO2 and NOx emissions and lower sound levels. We also want to make sure we increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and ensure we work with suppliers who can help us deliver social value for the people of Stockton-on-Tees.</p> <p>To develop our services for the future we are asking suppliers of grounds maintenance equipment (whether you work with us currently or not) to provide their insight on what might be possible over the next few years; what problems need to be overcome and help set realistic expectations and timetables. This will be combined with input from other stakeholders to help shape this service in the future.</p> <p>We invite organisations in this market to submit feedback using the attached questionnaire.
