<p>The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking to appoint a Provider to undertake a review of the provision of accommodation in the Private Rented Sector (PRS), with particular focus on the effectiveness of the Council&rsquo;s own Private Rented Options (PRO) team and the Council funded Private Sector Lettings Scheme (PSLS) in rehousing households that are homeless/at risk of homelessness and owed a duty by the Council under housing legislation. The review will include market research among landlords and individuals/households who have been recorded by the Council as homeless/at risk of homelessness, a mapping exercise showing the pathways these customers take to achieve stable housing, a cost benefit analysis of existing provision, and a desk review of such schemes among other local authorities. The primary deliverable will be a final report covering the outcomes of the review, featuring recommendations or an options appraisal. This is a fixed price contract with a value of &pound;20,000. It is anticipated that an initial mobilisation meeting will take place by 3 September 2021. It is estimated that work will take approximately 15 weeks.
