Tender description

We will convert the site of the existing tennis courts in Helmsdale to enable a range of other sports to utilise the facility. We plan to convert the site into a two court multi-use facility, including floodlighting, covered area, and disability access. It will consist of a 3G Astro Turf Pitch for football/hockey/shinty etc and a porous Macadam surface facilitating tennis/basketball/netball etc. Break up existing surface, grade and incorporate into foundation; Strip off vegetation and topsoil and dump at HDDTs other site in Helmsdale; Level and provide fall for drainage; Apply weed killer; Break out existing edging and replace with new edging; Lay and compact foundation; Supply, lay and connect plastic drain pipe; Supply and lay base course macadam; Supply and lay artificial grass on court 1 and porous macadam on court 2; Supply and fit surrounding fences; Widen access and construct new footpath to each facility; Supply and fit roof structure to court one, including floodlights, and floodlights for court 2.
