Please supply your email address if you would like to attend the briefing day which will take place via TEAMS on Monday 12th July 2021 at 15:30 (subject to change). This notice is not a call for competition, but advertisement of a market engagement briefing for the Electrification works (Rail Systems) for Midland Mainline Electrification Phase 3 (MMLe3). The MMLe3 programme will enable the electric operation of the new bi-mode trains on the whole of the MML, from Market Harborough - Sheffield (155km and 113 structures) by delivering works for the Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) extension to Sheffield and Nottingham, route clearance (multi-discipline) to accommodate OLE extension, and increased power supply to support electric passenger services to Sheffield and Nottingham. Additional information: It is our intention to engage early and extensively with the market to enhance the probability of successful outcomes for this project and to (1) inform potentially interested parties about the MMLe3 programme, (2) request ideas regarding the most efficient delivery methods / consult on the value drivers of those interested parties and (3) test some delivery, commercial and procurement proposals
