Design and Build of 4no. Linked Canopies and Associated Works in the Quadrangle Courtyard

Tender description

The project involves the following: • Design of the sub structure/foundations to support the canopy steel structure and construction of same. • Design of the canopies, canopy fabric, canopy structure and infill panels between the individual canopies and all associate works and construction/fabrication and installation of the canopies. • Design of new ground pavement/surface to be installed under the canopies and to extend to take account of ground works associated with the foundations of the canopies and the alterations of the below ground drainage and provision of an electrical supply. • Adjustment of the existing below ground surface water drainage and installation of new drainage channel • Adjustment and extension of the existing electrical cabling above and below ground to provide new luminaires, luminaire controls and heating equipment to the underside of the canopy structures. • Appointment and acting as PSPD and PSCS on the project. • Certification of the project upon completion that the project as constructed complies with the Building Regulations. • Completion of the Safety File. • By annual safety checks on the structure for 5 years from date of completion. Lot 218906: Design and Build of 4no. Linked Canopies and Associated Works in the Quadrangle Courtyard Design and build contract to provide 4no. linked canopies with luminaires and heating and ancillary ground works associated with the project. The contractor will also be required to undertake the role as PSDP and PSCS.
