Appointment of IST for Capital Rural Development Programme- Pomeroy Forest Environmental works

Tender description

Redevelopment of the old courtyard area. Currently the old courtyard buildings, outbuildings and surrounding stone wall are derelict and not safe for use. It is proposed that this area is redeveloped to create an imaginative feature space, rejuvenating the old building aesthetically, creating an outdoor communal area, picnic facilities and up grading car parking on site. This will seek to encourage greater use of the courtyard buildings as potential community and social enterprise projects. To date there has been expression of interest from a range of groups including: the Men’s Shed, Pomeroy Players to take these on and renovate the inside for community use. Works to be included are as listed below: • Re-surfacing works to carpark with associated kerbing / drainage , line marking etc • Car park lighting • Demolition of outbuilding and wall(s) • Courtyard buildings made safe, cleaned, painted, virtual window dressings • Picnic tables and bins • Signage • Associated landscaping
