Dresden Bungalow Improvements 2021/22

Tender description

This scheme involves improvement works to 88 bungalow properties. Refurbishment is required which will be carried out via 3 Lots. Lot 1 - Asbestos Removal - this will be carried out by specialist contractors and will NOT be included in this tender. Lot 2 - Environmental Enabling Works - this requires mature tree maintenance works to be undertaken across the site. Lot 3 - Bungalow Improvement Works - to include re-roofing, chimney repairs, re-pointing and renewal of rainwater goods, building plastics, scaffolding and replacing the existing timber cladding. In some properties the timber cladding will be replaced with a maintenance free render system. Renewal of access paths to all elevations and drainage to be improved. Loft insulation top-ups, timber external entrance doors replacement, renewal of external lighting, installation of hardwired smoke alarms, installation of kitchen and bathroom extraction fans and renewal of rear gates and store doors. Please note that any solar panel removal and re-installation works will be completed by Unitas' workforce and are not included in this tender.
