Conversion of existing 3 storey office accommodation to 1 & 2 bed residential apartments at Llys Anwyl, Churton Road, Rhyl The building is the former tax office at Llys Anwyl in Churton Road in Rhyl and it is to be converted in to provide 12 no. self-contained apartments. The buildings floor area is in the region of 1066m2 and has vacant possession. The contract is for the whole of the works by a Main Contractor There will be a full refurbishment of the internal arrangements with a high level of Mechanical and Electrical works. There are major works with the roof to accommodate the new use and the removal and reconstruction will be necessary. There will also be a reconstruction of the car parking areas and external works The site backs on to a nursing home and residential properties are situated around the site. The contract is to be administered under the JCT Standard form of contract without Quantities 2016. There will be a requirement for contractor designed items including a sprinkler system, other specialist M&E systems and new roof trusses.
