WH20033 - Domestic Lifts and Hoist, Supply, Installation and Maintenance

Tender description

Wolverhampton Homes is looking to appoint a contractor(s) for work packages for the supply, removal, storage, installation and maintenance (through warranty) of domestic lift and hoist equipment to domestic dwellings within the geographical area of Wolverhampton City Council for a period of four years with an option to extend a further two years. The works to be supplied are further described fully in the specification(s) attached elsewhere in this ITT and includes for four (4) work types as follows: Work Type Package 1: Straight/curved Stairlift – Anticipated Spend £150K/Annum* Work Type Package 2: Through Floor Lifts / Vertical Lift - Anticipated Spend £65K/Annum* Work Type Package 3: Powered Lifting Platform / Step Lift - Anticipated Spend £650K/Annum* Work Type Package 4: Ceiling Track Hoists - Anticipated Spend £150K/Annum* * Whilst the estimated value of works is as shown above for each work type package Wolverhampton Homes cannot offer any guarantees on numbers and values of orders issued to the Contractor(s) due to the fact that certain aspects for the delivery may be subject to external Government funding. It will be the responsibility of the appointed Supplier(s) to implement the works in accordance with the requirements of the Specification(s). The Work Type Packages are exclusive; bidders are permitted to bid for one, two, three or four in isolation or for any of the Packages in any combination. For example, a bidder may choose to bid for Works Packages 1 & 2 only or for Work Packages 1, 2 & 4 etc., Lot 1: Straight/curved Stairlift to residential units – Anticipated Spend £150K/Annum Lot 2: Through Floor Lifts / Vertical Lift (wheelchairs) - Anticipated Spend £65K/Annum Lot 3: Powered Lifting Platform / Step Lift - Anticipated Spend £650K/Annum Lot 4: Ceiling Track Hoists - Anticipated Spend £150K/Annum
