John Rankin Infant School Roof Refurbishment

Tender description

The existing roof at John Rankin Infant School is beyond its original service life with deflections and pooling across the roof. There is debris and foliage across the surface which will require clearance before works can commence. The roof drains from external gutters and these will need replacing and repositioned along the fascia boards. Roof lights are out of date and will also require replacement. Temporary veranda is considered to be fragile. Requirements as follows: o Strip existing debris and waterproof system o Install waterproofing system and insulation o Replacement roof lights o Flashing and trim to abutments and perimeter edges o Raise cavity trays as required to accommodate new insulation o Raise cladding as required o Replace guttering and fascias as required
