Tender description

St. Catherine’s Senior Girls’ School has a floor area of circa 3400 sq.m. The senior school is situated to the first floor level with its main entrance to the ground floor shared with the Junior school. The ground floor contains two schools - the Junior school and a Pre-school. The works will pertain to St. Catherine’s Senior School, the replacement of the primary toilet areas at the first floor level with 2 further toilet areas located to the ground floor level. No direct access for building works is available other than through the existing entrance areas. It is proposed to refurbish the existing toilet areas, incorporating new sanitary ware. The existing drainage occurs via cast iron pipe work, existing services are to be incorporated as required. Demolition works are required to complete the works. Existing service penetrations are to be retained and incorporated in the new works. The Senior school has in the region of 195 students with the Junior school in the region of 165 students with the Pre School in the region of 20 students. Staff numbers are in the region of 50 people. During the course of the works internal spaces must remain secure and protected from the elements.
