Tender description
<p>Bradford Council has been directed by Government to implement a Category C+ Clean Air Zone (CAZ) in order to achieve compliance with the air quality objectives for nitrogen dioxide in the shortest time possible. The CAZ within Bradford District will go live on the 5th January 2022. To mitigate the impact, the Council applied for funding to help support bus operators, the Council was successful. The opportunity is now available for bus operators to apply for funding to upgrade their vehicles in line with the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS), fitment and associated emission monitoring equipment or towards the cost of CAZ compliant replacement vehicles.</p> Keywords: bus, clean, air, zone
