Thanet Sewers rehabilitation AMP 7 phase

Tender description

The Thanet Sewers scheme is a groundwater protection programme of works to rehabilitate existing sewers over AMP's 5, 6 and 7. This opportunity relates to the AMP 7 PHASE. Lot 1: The 220km sewer system is unusual in that there are an estimated 17 km of sewers laid within purpose dug, underground unsupported tunnels within the chalk strata. We estimate that approximately 35 km to 55 km of the network will require rehabilitation works and flood storage/attenuation works. Additional information: Suppliers are invited to engage with Southern Water prior to the call for competition. This can be done by completing a questionnaire which is available via the Opportunity listed at www.southernwater.bravosolution.co.uk under the 'Current Opportunities' section. The questionnaire should be emailed to Southern Water once completed no later than 05/02/2021
