Pre-Qualification of Main Contractors for Roof Works/Renovations, New Science Block and Temporary Accommodation all to Crescent College Comprehensive, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick

The proposed phased works for this Type 3 project at Crescent College Comprehensive, Dooradoyle Road, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick comprises: • Provision of Temporary Accommodation comprising 15-Classrooms, 4-Offices/ 4 Resource Rooms, Toilets and ESB Switch Room including associated access and raised access paths, drainage, mains and electrical supply and the following phased building works. • Phase 1 - New Science Block involving construction of standalone extension including site works, re-routing of services, drainage, a rainwater harvesting system and PV panels on adjacent roof, installation of underground tanks, all required to be completed prior to works to the existing Science rooms (Phase 3). • Phase 2 - Senior Block/ Main Central Area/Administration Block – phased re-roofing and refurbishment works to existing main school building internally and externally, to commence only when decant to temporary accommodation is complete. • Phase 3 - Existing Science rooms/Library/ Home Economics area - refurbishment works internally and externally to include Library, works to be scheduled outside of school term and/or subject to school’s agreement. • Phase 4 - Technical Block/ PE Hall changing rooms adjoining the PE Hall - refurbishment works internally and externally including PE Hall; works to be scheduled outside of school term and/or subject to school’s agreement. • Mechanical, electrical and fire protection upgrade works. • General refurbishment of toilets, flooring, doors and ceilings.
