MRI (Haste) Development - Pre Tender: Supplier Technical Capability Assessment

Royal Surrey County Hospital are seeking to extend and reconfigure the Haste wing to house two MRI scanners, and co-locate the Cardiology and Radiology teams. In addition to the works in the Haste Wing, adjacent space within the main hospital building is being reconfigured to provide decant spaces and for future uses. Planning Permission for the extension of the Haste Wing has been granted. To deliver the project and ensure the Trust's services are uninterrupted, a three phase programme has been adopted. An overview of each phase is set out below: Phase 1: Strip Out and remodel area within the main hospital building, to provide a decant space for the services based in the existing Haste Wing. Phase 2: Strip out, extent and remodel the Haste wing, including coordinating the installation of the two MRI scanners with their suppliers. Phase 3: Remodel the decant areas in the main hospital for future uses, and provide a new reception area for the Haste Wing.
