Tender description

Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology wishes to award a contract under the open procedure for project work involving the re-adaption of four office type spaces into part office / part lab type spaces by providing a wet lab space and ancillary services within the rooms. The work is concentrated in three areas across three floors, but two rooms are back-to-back while the other two rooms are directly over one another. This will be a turnkey project which will be ready to move into upon completion. The main elements involved are as follows: • Electrical alterations & Installations. • Mechanical alterations & Installations. • Tiling • Decoration. • Floor finishes. • Alteration and Installation of new furniture (benching, cupboards, kitchen type units). Please refer to ITT for further details. GMIT wish to acknowledge funding provided by Enterprise Ireland for this project. Contract was award on the 27.04.2021 to: Conneally Group, Glenrock House, Glenrock Business park, Ballybane, Galway. 11 tender submissions were received.
