Tipperary County Council Framework Agreement & Schedule of Rates Tender for Minor Civil Engineering and Associated Works 2021

Tipperary County Council (the Contracting Authority) intends to enter into a multi-party Framework Agreement for minor civil engineering and associated works on public roads, streetscapes, public open spaces and in other public areas based on a suitability assessment and a schedule of rates document. This Suitability Assessment Questionnaire assesses the suitability of applicants for execution of minor civil engineering and associated works. Tenderers who satisfy the selection criteria in the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire will be eligible for admission to the framework. Provided a sufficient number of Tenderer's qualify for admission,: (a) the proposed number of framework contractors in each lot will be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10. (b) Tipperary County Council reserves the right to include more where it deems it to be appropriate. The award of places on the framework to eligibleTenderers will be based on price only. Work contracts will be awarded from 10 work Lots, in each of Tipperary County Council's 5 Municipal/Borough Districts Typically, the value of contracts under this framework will be in the range from €5,000 to €200,000 (exclusive of VAT). It is estimated that the number of work contracts per year in any Lot is unlikely to exceed fifteen and that the aggregrate value of the work contracts over the life of the framework is likely to be between €3,000,000 and €5,500,000 (exclusive of VAT). Even if this Framework Agreement is established, the Contracting Authority may procure the work in other ways and does not guarantee that any work will be procured under this Framework Agreement.
