Invitation to Contractors' webinar in relation to development opportunities at Southwark Council

This notice is to invite participants to a Contractors' webinar on Monday 17 May 2021, 2pm-3pm in relation to development opportunities at Southwark Council as further detailed in Section ll.2.4 Lot 1: Southwark Council is committed to the most ambitious council house-building programme in London - aiming to deliver 11,000 council homes by 2043. The council has a wide range of more than 50 schemes open to tender from 2021 to 2023, which will deliver over 4,000 new homes across the borough. The council is seeking a range of contractors who will work with it to meet the housing need in our borough, deliver benefits to local communities, reduce carbon emissions and look at innovative ways of delivering new homes. Further information will be presented at a Contractors’ Webinar on: Monday 17 May 2021, 2pm to 3pm. Contractors and developers will be mainly invited from Public Contract Regulations 2015 compliant frameworks, but the event is also open to the wider market to help shape our future procurement.
