This Periodic Indicative Notice ('PIN') does not relate to a specific contract or proposed procurement but rather relates to HS2 Ltd's focus on offsite manufacturing, modular construction and modern methods of construction to deliver improved efficiency and value for money for Phase Two. This PIN is to inform suppliers that HS2 Ltd wishes to commence market engagement and consultation, including seeking responses to the questionnaire referred to in this PIN below. Lot 1: High Speed Two (HS2) Limited ('HS2 Ltd') is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway. HS2 will initially run between London and Birmingham (Phase One) but will subsequently be extended to link Birmingham to Manchester and Leeds (Phase Two). This PIN does not relate to a specific contract or proposed procurement but rather relates to HS2 Ltd's focus on offsite manufacturing, modular construction and modern methods of construction to deliver improved efficiency and value for money for Phase Two. This PIN is to inform suppliers that HS2 Ltd wishes to commence market engagement and consultation, including seeking responses to the questionnaire referred to in this PIN and available at: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/HS2Offsite/ HS2 Ltd may undertake further and other market consultation exercises relating to the matters sets out in this PIN but initially this questionnaire is to investigate the capacity and capability within the market. The responses to the questionnaire may also inform HS2 Ltd’s emerging strategy to improve the delivery of Phase Two.
