Tender description

Provision of Disabled adaptations to the residents of Newcastle Upon Tyne covering but is not limited to stair lifts, through lifts, bathing adaptations, access adaptations, ceiling track hoists, door entry systems, and major building works. The contracts will commence on the 1 April 2021 and expire on the 31 March 2025 (the contract includes 2 x 12 month option to extend to 31 March 2025). Lot 1: Lot 1 — Stair Lift Supply and installation of Stair Lifts. Lot 2: Lot 2 — Ceiling Track Hoists Supply and installation of Ceiling Track Hoists. Lot 3: Lot 3 — Platform Lifts Supply and installation of platform lifts. Lot 4: Lot 4 — General Building Works The works comprises the delivery of General Building Work under a Disabled Facilities Grant award comprising undertaking of room conversions, bathroom adaptations, new extensions, garage conversions, kitchen adaptations and installation of Automated Toilets and various safety provisions all as described in the specification, at various properties within the City of Newcastle upon Tyne following an award of a Disabled Facilities Grant. Lot 5: Lot 5 — Door Entry Supply and installation of Door Entry Systems. Lot 6: Lot 6 — Service and Repair of Stair Lifts, Ceiling Track Hoists, Platform Lifts Service and repair of stair lifts, ceiling track hoists, platform lifts. Lot 7: Lot 7 — Servicing and Repair — Bathing Equipment Servicing and repair of installed bathing equipment. Lot 8: Lot 8 — Access Works Supply and installation of access works (temporary ramps, temporary steps, permanent ramps, paving, and shallow steps). Lot 9: Lot 9.1 — Specials — Bariatric Stair Lifts Supply and installation of bariatric stair lifts. Lot 10: Lot 9.2 — Specials — Wash/Dry Toilets Supply and installation of wash/dry toilets.
