The following is a brief overview: The demolition of an existing, traditionally constructed, former school, followed by the construction of a new Childrens Home. The new building: Two storey, timber framed with a pitched roof, constructed off concrete raft foundations with a concrete/screed finished floor. The GIFA is 655m². Rooms include: • Bedrooms with ensuite facilities. • Emergency bedrooms. • Quiet Room. • WC’s. • Stores. • Kitchen. • Offices. • Plant Room. The external works include: • Tarmacadam Footpaths/car parking. • Concrete Hardstanding’s. • Soft play Zones. • Fencing & Walling. • Highways Works. • Drainage.
