External Fabric Refurbishment Works to 150 Berryknowes Avenue Southside Housing Association wishes to enter into a contract with a bidder who is suitably qualified and experienced in the provision of the proposed works as detailed below. External Wall Cladding Remove existing cladding, fire barriers and support frames Allowance for concrete repairs to existing external wall Supply and install insulated fire rated cladding system, secured to concrete background, External Wall Insulation (EWI) Supply and fit aluminium sills Sundry Items – Painted signage, sample panels, pull-out tests, steel plates to external wall, electrical supply for mast climbers Windows Take down & remove existing windows to both dwellings and common areas Supply and fit new uPVC tilt & turn windows Supply and fit new aluminium framed windows Sundry Items – Aluminium sills over render walls, apron plates, repairs to ingoes & soffits, mastic sealant, design & warrant works Ground Floor Cladding / Brick Slips Ground Floor will consist of cladding in brick slips Work to perimeter of building, lift and relay slabs Sundry Items – beads to windows, bellcast, removal of external light fittings, removal / replacement of signage, sample panels
