Contract for the provision of Park & Ride Passenger Transport Services 2021

Tender description

The appointed supplier will operate a Park & Ride bus service to Taunton Town Centre from the parking sites at Silk Mills and Taunton Gateway. This includes supervision and management duties to ensure the service is delivered to the required standard. The Authority accepted bids for potential suppliers to operate the service under a Cost or Subsidy Contract. The Authority awarded one of the Lot - Option 1 Cost Contract. Lot 1: Cost Contract The appointed supplier will operate a Park & Ride bus service to Taunton Town Centre from the parking sites at Silk Mills and Taunton Gateway. This includes supervision and management duties to ensure the service is delivered to the required standard. This Lot is Option 1 – Cost – this will be a fixed price for the service to be paid to the appointed Supplier, with fare revenue returned to Somerset County Council. Lot 1: Cost Contract The appointed supplier will operate a Park & Ride bus service to Taunton Town Centre from the parking sites at Silk Mills and Taunton Gateway.
