CWC21032 - Food Bank Support

Tender description

The Council wishes to invite interested organisations (Tenderers) to participate in a further competition from the ESPO 83 Grocery, Frozen and Fresh Food Framework (Lot 1 - Supply and Distribution of Grocery and Provisions) to establish a contract for the supply and delivery of food parcels to support the operation of up to fifteen (15) Food Banks located within the City boundaries. Additional food banks may be incorporated into the Council's portfolio during the term of the contract. The food parcels supplied on behalf of the Council to the selected food banks are designed to be distributed to support the City's most vulnerable citizens. Tenderers must be able to supply the full listing of the Goods as detailed in the Specification. This contract will be for an initial period of 1 year. There will be an option to extend for a further 3 months (12+3). This is subject to satisfactory performance as monitored through the use of key performance indicators. The Contract will in accordance with the terms of the ESPO 83 Grocery, Frozen and Fresh Food Framework.
