StARR Aberdeen Close Stream Water Attenuation Pond

Tender description

The St Austell Bay Resilient Regeneration Project (StARR) aims to work across the whole of the Par and Sandy river catchments to reduce flood risks to communities living and working in the St Austell Bay area, particularly the people of Par and St Blazey. Corserv on behalf of Cormac Solutions is seeking to appoint an experienced contractor to construct St Blazey stream water attenuation pond and associated inlet/outlet pipework and stream offtake structure. The pond is to be unlined and a nominal amount of ground water infiltration is anticipated. The location is Aberdeen Close pond is located on land to the north of St Blazey Football Club pitch, Par, Cornwall. The NGR of the pond is SX 06993 54847. The works are to be carried out in accordance with all documents and drawings contained within the RFQ. The intention is to award the Contract to the most economically advantageous tenderer based on 30% Quality and 70% Price. This project has been part-financed by grant funding from the European Regional Development Fund and will be subject to conditions imposed by the funding body. Suppliers will be expected to comply with the relevant requirements and any associated regulations such as procurement, publicity, and eligibility criteria.
