This is a materials package to deliver Accoya Shou Sugi Ban fire treated timber cladding for the CHARM virtually plastic free homes in Redditch, Worcestershire. This is because we previously failed to publish this on Contracts Finder and only using Find a Tender Service. Therefore, we had to re-tender this work package and if we were to go through the standard procedure, it would lead to loss of finance due to interest cost on the site and on costs associated with the building site set up. In addition the grant programme has a number of grant milestones that the additional delay would put at a risk the spending of the EU public funding.
