Tender description

The grass pitch at Lochaber High School has been out of commission for a number of years due to the surface condition. A recent site inspection involving hand digs down to the gravel layer established that the problem lies in the top layer of the pitch. It was recommended that to bring the pitch back to a useable standard, approximately 60mm of the top layer requires to be removed, sand slits should be installed to let surface water drain to the lower levels and the pitch should then be re-surfaced, verti-drained, fertilised and reseeded.
