Tender description

A single supplier contract which will include routine maintenance, winter service and reactive repairs to the highway. The works included in this package are small scale repairs that require swift action and little planning. They can be carried out by operatives with small mobile tools and only the occasional use of items of plant or larger equipment. Routine maintenance, winter service and reactive repairs to the highway, including urgent reactive and planned maintenance of footways, carriageways and structures and planned maintenance of drainage, plus (from October to April only) winter stand-by provision, gritting of carriageways and site investigations as instructed (trial holes, topographical surveys, etc.).
