Repair and maintenance services

Tender description

The Estates and Building Services Division fulfils the Corporate Landlord function for the Authority, in which repairs and maintenance services are provided by the building maintenance section of the facilities management team. This service includes general building and engineering services with our in-house technical and FM Help Desk staff commissioning a range of property repair and maintenance. This contract will be a significant element of ensuring that the Council is able to fulfil its Corporate Landlord function in making sure buildings are safe, secure, well-maintained and generally fit for purpose. Lot 1a — General Building Maintenance and Repairs for the Authority’s Operational Estate as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR). Lot 1b — General Building Maintenance and Repairs for the Authority’s Schools and Colleges (included traded services), Corporate Estate and all other estate (excluding Operational) as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR). Lot 2 — Roofing maintenance and repairs as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR). Lot 3 — Windows, glazing and boarding-up services as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR). Lot 4 — Electrical service, maintenance and repairs as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) and SFG20. Lot 5 — Plumbing and gas service, maintenance and repairs as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) and SFG20. Lot 6 — Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) service, maintenance and repairs as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) and SFG20. Lot 7 — Swimming pool service, maintenance and repair as set out in the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) and SFG20.
