Threemilestone Community Centre Extension - Main Works Contract

<p>This open tender opportunity requires the construction of a new extension to, and the completion of internal refurbishment of, the existing Threemilestone Community Centre, which is located at Pengelly Way, Truro, Cornwall TR3 6DP.&nbsp;</p> <p>The principal outline requirements are for a new entrance extension over 2 floors providing in the region of 220sqm of new floor area. The upper level will provide plant room and storage space. The entrance level will create a light and bright double height entrance foyer to the community centre that will double as a waiting area and welcome point. The new entrance foyer will have a glazed external canopy which will also serve an externally accessible WC for use when the centre is closed. A community noticeboard and digital display board, suitable for advertisements will be cited within the foyer.</p> <p>Planning permission was recently granted 6th January, 2021, with an anticipated Contractor start on site date of April 1st, 2021 or earlier if possible.</p> <p>The deadline for raising any tender queries, which can only be raised via the Due North/Proactis E- procurement portal, via the messaging system for Project Reference DN 511834, is 26th January, 2021 with tender submissions due in via the Portal by 5pm on Monday 1st February, 2021.&nbsp;</p> Keywords: Construction
