Procurement of a New Webcasting Provider for Democratic Services

Tender description

The council is looking to procure a new webcasting provider that shall enable council meetings taking place in the council chamber and the cabinet suite (meeting rooms 1, 2 and 3) to be broadcast to the public. The webcasting system shall allow for hybrid meetings where some attendees are physically in the council chamber or cabinet suite, while others are attending virtually via the council's current virtual meetings platform Cisco WebEx Meetings. As Office 365 is rolled out across the council, this is likely to change to Microsoft Teams. Any solution must be compatible with both WebEx and Teams. The council is looking to procure a Commercial off the Shelf (COTs) solution. For the avoidance of doubt, we are not procuring a development contract i.e. bidders must have an existing solution which meets our requirement at the time of bidding. We wish to complete a successful process that attracts competition in order to achieve value for money for the council.
