Merseytravel are looking to refurbish the Seacombe landing stage and booms and at the same time replace both the passenger and the vehicle linkspan bridges with new designed bridges. The agreed requirements are for the removal of the landing stage and booms, take into dry dock and be fully refurbished to a standard that will give a 25-year lifespan to the next major maintenance intervention, remove the existing linkspan bridges and replace with new linkspan bridges. Design and install 2 new mechanical gangways, remove and renew bollards to agreed locations, modify the existing fender arrangement to interface with vessels and bollard configurations.
