Tender description

Network Rail intends to carry out a procurement exercise to establish a framework agreement for the delivery of buildings and civils works across the Southern Region. These works will be undertaken primarily within the Southern Region. However, the framework may also be extended to other parts of the UK Rail Network. The framework is intended to cover the detailed design and construction of Buildings and Civils projects, including Mechanical and Engineering (M&E), Fabric (Canopy and Platforms), Footbridges, Metallic Structures, Earthworks, and Masonry and Concrete Structures. The procurement exercise will be divided into 7 lots, comprising 1 buildings and civils ‘Generalist’ lot and 6 ‘Specialist’ lots. Network Rail envisages that the initial duration of the framework will be 3 years with options to extend by 5 further 1-year extensions (3 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1). The delivery of multi-discipline works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement. This consists of Buildings and Civils, Mechanical and Engineering (M&E), Fabric (Canopy and Platforms), Footbridges, Metallic Structures, Earthworks, and Masonry and Concrete Structures. The delivery of mechanical and engineering (M&E) works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement. The delivery of canopy and platform works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement. The delivery of footbridges works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement. The delivery of metallic structures works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement. The delivery of earthworks works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement. The delivery of masonry and concrete structures works, including detailed design and construction, through a framework agreement.
