Provision of Liquid Fuel Supply to the Government of Jersey

Tender description

The Government of Jersey (GOJ) uses liquid fuels in many of its properties for heating and also for vehicle transport. A number of these sites are vital island assets/services ( eg Hospital /schools ) or for vehicle fuel it is used in blue light services and infrastructure support activities. GOJ elects to secure the supply of heating and vehicle fuel via a corporate contract with a local fuel distributor(s). The requirement to purchase fuel will continue for the foreseeable future and in operating under a GOJ contract we wish to ensure continuity of supply and access value for money proposition for taxpayers. In anticipation of the publication of an ITT in early December we are seeking Express of Interest from suppliers who have an existing/established supply chain and distribution system on Jersey who may wish to respond and bid to provide supply. Whilst we require the supply of fuels we are as part of the GOJ journey towards Carbon Neutral policy / goals 2030, with the this opportunity we are seeking to partner with a supplier who shares the same goals and will help and support us. New contract will commence early 2021 and we expect an initial term of 3 years Keywords: Liquid Fuel
