Soft Market Testing - Specialist Housing for New Build & Refurbishment DPS KMCIRS-137

<p>Kirklees Council is seeking to develop a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) of Registered Housing Providers able to work in partnership with the Council to carry out New Build and Refurbishment works for its specialist and supported accommodation. The Council has set out an ambitious plan to significantly increase the number and range of social housing and specialist housing across Kirklees to meet local demand. The Council is undertaking soft market testing to engage with potential RPs prior to commencing tender activity. This will enable the Council to receive feedback on the market&rsquo;s appetite for a DPS for this purpose, and to ensure that any proposed tender and contractual documentation is formulated correctly and mitigates any potential risks. A market engagement questionnaire and associated draft specifications are available for interested organisations to view and respond to by the stated deadline. Following on from submissions of responses to the questionnaires, the Council will engage with interested organisations. During the current Covid-19 restrictions, this will impact on how soft market testing can be undertaken.
