Tender description

The contract is for the supply fresh meat and poultry to council catering establishments across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The supplier will be required to supply and deliver a quality range of fresh meat and poultry to the Council six days a week with no delivery charges. The supplier should have the ability to supply to any site within the BCP Council boundary. Deliveries will be Monday — Saturday (with the exception of Public Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The contract is for the supply fresh meat and poultry to Council Catering Establishments across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Currently the sites requiring the supply of fresh meat and poultry are five day centres in Bournemouth, two day centres in Poole, Upton Country Park and Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre in Christchurch. It may be that during the term of the contract other sites may choose to access the supply of fresh meat and poultry through this contract. The Council reserves the right to ask the supplier to supply further units or trading outlets within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The Council reserves the right to close sites as well as move sites to new locations. The Council does not guarantee any volume of product required during the length of the contract. The supplier will be required to supply and deliver a quality range of fresh meat and poultry to the Council 6 days a week with no delivery charges. The supplier should have the ability to supply to any site within the BCP Council boundary.
