Roof Covering for Environmental Innovation Hub, Durley Chine, Bournemouth, BH2 5JF – Future Opportunity

<p>Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP Council) are currently accepting expressions of interest from specialist subcontractors who are interested in providing a quote for future contract requirement for roof covering works. The project comprises the construction of a 2-storey timber frame Environmental Innovation Hub, concrete frame public WCs, concrete frame kiosk, and timber decking under a timber/living roof. It is anticipated that the successful supplier will be required to commence these works in April 2021. The Council will issue a quote request to specialist subcontractors who meet the criteria outlined below and can provide roof finishes to buildings inline with the following requirements: &bull; IKO Spectraplan TPE 1.2mm single ply membrane finish - RAL 7035 to the Education / Welfare Building &bull; IKO Armourplan GB pvc single ply membrane - RAL 7046; Smartply Ultima OSB4, firrings to fall, ventilated void at parapet; breathable Medite vent board &amp; Solitex Adhero (or Solitex Weldano) membrane fixed with Tescon Naideck butyl-based tape &ndash; to the WC and Kiosk &bull; Contractors must be aware of the location of the site and the restrictions that this will bring with regards vehicle movements and delivery of plant and materials. &bull; Contractors are to be based within a 40-mile radius of the site.If you would like to be included in this quote request, and meet the criteria above, please register your interest via the link above.
