East Renfrewshire Council is currently inviting tenders, from suitably qualified companies to undertake the design and construction of an external wall insulated render system and the re-roofing of properties to East Renfrewshire Council properties, as per the address list provided, in various locations within East Renfrewshire as part of the HEEPS ABS programme 2020-21. The estimated works value (excluding fees) is in the region of 750,000GBP however the Council reserves the right to spend up to a further 250,000GBP should extras funds become available. The number of properties available is 46 however this number could possibly increase or decrease. These are indicative figures only and no guarantee is given with regard to the Council’s overall uptake of any resulting contract. It is anticipated that by offering this in a competitive market that a saving on the above value may be achieved. Suitably qualified companies to undertake the design and construction of an external wall insulated render system and the re-roofing of properties to East Renfrewshire Council properties, as per the address list provided, in various locations within East Renfrewshire as part of the HEEPS ABS programme 2020-21. The description of works to be carried out by the successful contractor includes re-roofing and re-rendering, of existing Local Authority properties and mixed tenure blocks (typical property types include semi-detached, mid terrace, four-in-a-block properties and tenement properties). The successful contractor will provide a managed contract so will not only carry out the work but will also administer the required paperwork which involves Energy Performance Surveys (before and after the works), Building Warrant submissions, structural engineers certificates, pre and post EPCs, design and construction of external wall insulated render systems and the re-roofing of properties to East Renfrewshire Council Properties in various locations within East Renfrewshire Council. The contract commencement date is no later than Monday 11 January 2021, or an alternative date as agreed by the Council, for a period of approximately 18 weeks.
