Tender description

Wigan Council is seeking to procure a panel of contractors to be part of a framework agreement for building and associated works of varied values per works/project. The type of works may be both planned and reactive works carried out on a variety of premises including social housing. Works shall include, but not be limited to, asbestos removal, asphalt solutions, general building, internal and external premises cleaning and clearing, electrical, joinery, plastering, tiling, plumbing, labouring, painting and decorating, door and window supply and fitting, metal fabrication, specialist utility repairs, damp remediation and wall ties, roofing, door entry systems and locksmiths, power inspection and servicing. Asbestos – social housing properties and other premises/sites. Concrete flooring dig out/install and screed finish — social housing properties and other premises/sites. Void refurbishment and day to day. Refurbishment and general building works – corporate, educational, commercial and industrial premises. PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) tester with van. Electrician — labour with a van. Joiner – labour with a van. Plasterer/tiler – labour with a van. Labourer – labour with a van. Cleaning of — social housing void properties post building work. Cleaning of social housing communal areas. Cleaning properties — (bio hazard, crime or trauma scene and unattended death cleaning).
