Framework Agreement for Responsive Repairs and Void Works to residential housing stock, primarily retirement housing for older people with a smaller number of general needs properties located mainly in North Fife, Perth and Dundee areas. Bield Housing and Care is a not for profit housing provider and a registered social landlord based in Scotland. Bield Housing and Care has housing stock in several areas of Scotland and specialise in the provision of housing for retirement, housing for older people and also provide mainstream residential housing. The contract is for the provision of day to day responsive repairs, void property and out of hours emergency works for the properties and developments included in this procurement. The full requirements of this framework and the contracts to be placed from it are set out in the DRAFT Tender Documents and these should be read carefully before deciding to complete the ESPD. It is Bield Housing and Care's intention that two contractors will be appointed to the Framework. The first placed contractor will be awarded all of the works initially, however if at any time there is a failure of performance the second placed contractor will be called upon to carry out a proportion of the works. Should it be necessary to end the first placed contractor's contract earlier than intended the second placed contractor shall be appointed to take over the entire contract. Initially only the first placed contractor will be required to provide the IT integration requirement, which is a condition precedent to being awarded the contract.
