Tender description

The works will consist of the construction of an extension to enlarge the existing house allowing for Bedroom with en suite and bedsit/sitting room to the side of an existing 3 bedroom Specific Instance Cottage Housing Unit at Sheskinarone, Dungloe, Co. Donegal. This housing unit is in the full ownership of Donegal County Council and is located within the Glenties Municiple District. The works involves the construction of an extension of a new bedroom with en suite facilities and a bedsit/sitting room to the existing house including all associated works consisting of the following: • Site set up by contractor • Excavation of installation of foundations for extension and all associated works • Construction of cavity walls and associated works • Construction of new roof to extension and all associated works • Installation of full mechanical and electrical requirements to extension and all associated works including re-location of services. • First and second fixings throughout extension internally • Installation of new footpath to new extension to tie into existing footpath. • Diversion of all existing services around new extension. • Removal and disposal of existing sewerage treatment system and installation of a new sewerage treatment system in same location. • Extension to be fully completed and site to be reinstated to original condition upon completion of works. The full scope of the Works and the obligations of the Contractor are to be ascertained by reference to the Contract as a whole.
