Tender description

Red Kite is a tenant-led, not-for-profit, charitable housing association. As a major provider of social housing in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas, it currently owns and manages circa 6 700 properties and holds a modest land portfolio. Red Kite has embarked on an ambitious development programme to provide at least 375 new homes by 2023 to support the delivery of much needed housing, with an aspiration to deliver up to 500. Red Kite's plan is to build a range of different tenures which will include a small number of outright sale homes but the main focus is to deliver affordable rented homes. To deliver its programme, Red Kite Community Housing Ltd (as a central purchasing body on behalf of itself and any of its current or future group entities and subsidiaries) wishes to establish a multi-supplier framework of contractors for the construction of new homes in and around the Wycombe area. Lot 1 will cover small projects with a value of 2 000 000 GBP or less. Lot 2 will cover medium developments with a value of more than 2 000 000 GBP up to a maximum of 8 000 000 GBP.
