Cannock Chase District Council Adaptation Works Contract

Tender description

This procurement is on behalf of Cannock Chase District Council. The Procurement is for the provision of Works which generally comprise of adaptation works, including design, to approximately 140 properties within the Cannock Chase District Council area to provide ramps and bathrooms to dwellings for people with disabilities; this includes approximately 88 Level Access Showers, 26 ramps and other adaptation works as detailed in Annex D of the documents that are available on the e-tendering portal ( see link below). Cannock Chase District Council may add additional properties / additional items of works during the contract period; therefore, the Contractor should take this into account when preparing their tender submission as preliminaries costs are to be fixed for the contract period. The contract has a total value of approximately £810,000.00 for the period up to 31st March 2021 with an option to extend a further 2 years on a 12 month basis (subject to the Contract Supervisor / Administrators approval which will be based on performance.) The Works for years 2 and 3 will be approximately 60 Adaptations within properties which will include level access showers, ramps and other adaptation works for each year.
