Replacement Of Lifts At Lindsey Place

Tender description

The work comprises of the replacement of the lifts in Lindsey Place flats, North & South ends. This is to be completed in 2 phases. Phase 1 replaces one lift, whilst phase 2 replaces the remaining lift in the block. After the completion of the first lift, it needs to run fault free for 2 weeks. The existing lift shafts and machine rooms are to be re-used. The capacity of the lifts will be 10 person 750kg with the lift doors remaining in the same position. The Main Contractor will allow for all builders’ work in conjunction with the installation and shall be fully advised by the specialist contractor. The Contractor shall allow for full removal and disposal of all redundant equipment/materials of the existing lift installation and the renewal as detailed in the attached Specification.
