Tender description
East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub are looking to engage with potential suppliers with the capability for provision of non-urgent patient transportation and specialist courier services Products within scope are expected to include, but limited to: — ambient temperature transportation (Medical notes and files) — temperature controlled transportation — non-urgent patient transport. Services within scope are expected to include, but not limited to: — planned, regular deliveries to customer organisations served by participating authorities, — planned, regular deliveries between hospital sites within a participating authority or wider STP, — planned, deliveries to patients homes, or other appropriate location within a defined radius from a participating authority, — unplanned delivery as required to meet urgent need. East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub are looking to engage with potential suppliers with the capability patient transportation services Lot 1a — Private Ambulance — System Capacity Support Suppliers awarded to the framework are expected to be able to provide transportation in vehicles that are suitable for ambulatory patients and patients who require an assisted return to home or onward transportation to other care facilities. Lot 1b: Patient Repatriation Services Providers for Lot 1b will need to be to be able to offer a fully managed, clinically-supported, bed-to-bed repatriation service as required. East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub are looking to engage with potential suppliers with the capability of temperature controlled logistics — planned service delivery Planned service delivery will encompass both routes and times for delivery and or collection where so set by the contracting authority (Beneficiary). Planned service delivery means and will encompass regular journeys and routes which may additionally have regular set times laid against the route or routes. Items to be transported could be a mixture of items, for example it could be a mixed set of requirements consisting of the transportation of files/medical notes, pharmacy items or raw material between hospital pharmacies for manufacturing, or the transfer of tissue and blood samples, or regular consignment and transfer of mail and files between community, mental health and social care providers. Lot 9 is a locked lot comprising of some or all of the elements of Lot 2 to Lot 8 as a complete service delivery package.
