Tender description

NHS Supply Chain: food seeked to award a/or supplier(s) for the supply of fruit and vegetables under the school fruit and vegetable scheme (SUSFVS). The awarded supplier(s) will be responsible for the supply and delivery of the goods to the awarded distributor(s) within the scheme in England. It is anticipated that in the first year of the framework agreement the value will be in the region of GBP 27 000 000. For the full term the anticipated value is between GBP 108 000 000. These values are approximate only and are based on the most recent historical usage information, with a forecasted level of growth and upon the assumption that the school fruit and vegetable scheme will remain unchanged. The values provided are for guidance only and are not a guarantee of business. Supply of clean, fresh and whole fruit. All fruit and vegetables must comply with the FWA product specification appendix 3. The value for the first 24 months is anticipated to be GBP 27 120 000 and GBP 54 240 000 for the full 48 months (if extended). Supply of clean, fresh and whole fruit. The value for the first 24 months is anticipated to be GBP 12 800 000 and GBP 25 600 000 for the full 48 months (if extended). Supply of clean, fresh and whole carrot in accordance with the FWA product specification in appendix 3. The value for the first 24 months is anticipated to be GBP 4 500 000 and GBP 9 000 000 for the full 48 months (if extended). Clean, fresh and whole fruit and vegetables. All fruit and vegetables must comply with the FWA product specification appendix 3. The value for the first 24 months is anticipated to be GBP 5 520 000 and GBP 11 040 000 for the full 48 months (if extended). Clean, fresh and whole vegetables. All fruit, all vegetables must comply with the FWA product specification appendix 3. The value for the first 24 months is anticipated to be GBP 2 000 000 and GBP 4 000 000 for the full 48 months (if extended). Clean, dried and whole fruit. Either sultana and/or Thompson seedless varieties of grape can be used and comply with the FWA product specification appendix 3. The value for the first 24 months is anticipated to be GBP 1 920 000 and GBP 4 120 000 for the full 48 months (if extended).
