Tender description

As part of the metro flow project which will increase the frequency of the metro network, Nexus (the Tyne and Wear PTE) is required to complete extensive infrastructure works on the metro network between South Shields and Pelaw expected to take place in the period between mid September 22 to mid December 22. The infrastructure works require a complete shutdown of that section of the network for their duration. Nexus therefore wishes to procure a bus replacement service for that period. It is anticipated the service will operate between South Shields and Newcastle on a limited and all stops basis and may include customer service provision.
