Choice Housing Ireland Ltd require engagement of an appropriately qualified and experienced Principal Contractor to provide works to 2no self contained apartments that have suffered damage due to deflection of concrete beams. The apartments are situated within a 5no. unit apartment complex at Taylors Corner, Bangor. The scheme provides accommodation to Category 1 tenants. The works also include: - Stripping out ceiling from over the undercroft driveway and reinstatement of the same, after works have been completed. - Localised repairs to the internal plastered walls. - The laying of levelling screeds at first and second floors. - The re-boarding of ceilings. - Partial re-rendering of the rear, gable and front panels of the external walls. - Installation of powder coated cladding around the down stand beams and columns, to match existing. - Testing of internal services for any distress from the historic movement. - The protection of the existing lift and its associated equipment, as well as the servicing/re-testing/re- commissioning of the lift on completion of the works.
