Tender description

To supply and install metal posts (6"x6" RSJ) piled into the stream bed along the agreed stretch of the BP lake outflow, on the east side, replacing the full length of timber on this side of the channel. Lengths of steel will vary, depending on height of wall/channel at point of piling, but at the end supporting most weight the steel will be 6ft in the ground. 100 x Oak sleepers (2.4m long, 200mm x 100mm) will be placed between all RSJs and laid level. Any soil needed to back-fill will be excavated in from unseeded car park bank, exact location to be agreed when quantity is known. All rubbish (old wood etc.) will be taken off site unless requested by Country Park team. Any spare Oak sleepers from the 100 included in the quotation will be stored at Black Park for future use afterwards.
